The wines tasted at the Show were of decent
quality and offered good price-quantity ratio.
Commenting at the IFE-India Show, said
their business development manager, Maurizio Tirinti, ‘There
are factors which will enable us to be at the forefront
of the wine market and to spread the wine culture in India
over its increasing number of consumers every year. Our
wines have a good quality-price-image ratio; our quality
id superior due to limited yields, compared to other vine-growing
areas. Our vines are grown exclusively on hilly sites and
we use modern technology.’

‘One positive feature of our wines
is a very good Price-quality ratio. For instance, Molinelli
Gutturnio Monte Po and Malvasia Vigna Canne are fine examples
of quality still and sparkling wines and yet they would
cost under €4 to the distributors. With your high taxes
in India, these wines offer the best of both worlds,’
he added.
Both Molinelli and Torricelle produce a
wide product range based on D.O.C. wines. Their wines have
won a slew of awards for their wines especially for the
late harvest Malvasia, Barbera, Gutturnio and Chardonnay.
