The Gurgaon chapter of the Delhi Wine Club had its third gathering from 7 to 9 pm on Sunday, December 19
at the OZ restaurant in the Plaza mall. The chapter is gathering momentum after a successful first two events
- a wine-tasting evening at the Laburnum club house and a wine dinner at Uppal's Orchid.

OZ is a fine dining restaurant specializing in Mediterranean and Middle East cuisine with a seperate bar and lounge area. The ambience was just right for the club and people enjoyed the collection of one sparkling and three still wines that Subhash had selected. The proprietor Daman Sodhi was kind enough to provide us with canapes on a gratis basis and has offered a 15% discount on dinner to all Delhi Wine Club members who visit his restaurant.

The Wine Tasting Event at OZ was attended by about 30 people, which included members and guests. People were enjoying their wine and snacks even at 10 pm, well after the closing time. Our target is to aim for 50 members from Gurgaon which will give us a critical mass to stage events here on a regular basis. We have plans to hold events at Garden Estate, the Trident and China Club in early 2005
