TASTING NOTES

Tyrrell’s Moore's Creek Sparkling Brut NV
 Vintage : Non Vintage

Tasting Note: Made from Hunter Valley chardonnay and Semillon grapes. An elegant sparkling with excellent depth of flavor and attractive fruit characters. Fresh with a clean, crisp finish.

Te Mata Woodthorpe Sauvignon Blanc
 Vintage : 2011

Tasting Note: Woodthorpe Sauvignon Blanc has a pale lemon colour with green lights. Lifted aromas of gooseberry, passion fruit, pear and lime carry through to a refreshing palate with a fine mineral texture and long, balanced finish.

Maison Champy Bourgogne Chardonnay
 Vintage : 2009

Tasting Note: A bright golden pale color with hints of green. Very good aromatic intensity. Expressive nose with citrus. Rich, round, opulent and long on the palate. Aromatic persistence in the finish with a good length.

Te Mata Estate Gamay Pinot Noir
 Vintage : 2011

Tasting Note: Te Mata estate woodthorpe gamay pinot noir has a vibrant, bright cherry colour with aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry and lavender. The palate is juicy and moreish with toffee-apple flavors and gently rounded, light tannins to the finish.

Tyrrell’s Brokenback Shiraz
Vintage : 2010

Tasting Notes: A continuation of the fabulous run of Brokeback vintages since 2006.  The 2010 vintage shows aromas of red berry fruits with only a very subtle lift of French oak. These characters then flow seamlessly onto the palate, with plush, sweet fruit balanced by soft acid and tannin, resulting in a classic Hunter Shiraz.
